The James Heal Martindale Abrasion and Pilling Tester with TestWise Touch is used extensively by companies throughout the world for testing abrasion and pilling. It is easy to use and its stylish design will enhance the appearance of your laboratory.

James Heal has developed three models to accommodate different levels of testing. The largest model is the Maxi-Martindale with 9 test stations. The medium sized model is the Midi-Martindale with 5 test stations. The small version is the Mini-Martindale with 2 stations.

Martindale is a very flexible instrument that can be used to test a range of materials including woven and knitted textiles, nonwovens, socks, gloves, cords and straps, carpets, leather, wood, floor coverings, painted surfaces and many other applications (either dry or wet).
